The Guild 2 Renaissance Patch 4.20 - Newsticker CW51 2014

We are happy to announce today, that the patch 4.2 for The Guild 2 Renaissance is almost done!
You can look forward to hundreds of bugfixes, a higher performance, a better network stability, in-game concerts of the band Versengold, 6 brandnew maps, remastered music peaces, new models, a handfull of new measures, the ModLauncher (for managing mods) and a lot of balancings - all in all more than 600 mb!

The team will come together again in spring 2015 to work on the smaller patch 4.21, in order to fix the bugs which could not be fixed in 4.2.

Three days, I cannot wait! I've reread the patch notes multiple times now. I can't only imagine the changes until I get to try them myself :D

This is incredible. Before the announcement I was 100% positive that the devteam is done with the game and suddenly they made this "megapatch" thats not only about to turn heaven of bugs to stable version but also adds cool features in there. Big thumbs up guys.

We have integrated a tool especially for installing mods. Hope that we can expect a lot of cool mods like in the years before.

Yeah exactly! The only thing to get modders going is a community, and to be honest, there are not many people here.
Also, I am very confused myself to what forum TG2 the official forum is, since if you just quickly search around, you find quite a few, and also quite confusing if TG2 is from RuneForge, or Nordic games, because TG3 is from Nordic games.

I hope you guys can get some people start playing TG2 again, perhaps let all the people know that there is still progress here! TG2 is a very big game, with a lot of potential, for the developers, gamers, and modders!

I am happily willing to support you guys! Sadly I am not much of a programmer or graphics, although I am an IT guy hehe :)

Alright, that explains a lot! You'll see me more around then on Nordic forums! Can't wait for the release of TG3, and the moment I can place my pre-order!

it will be a package of mods compatible to the new ModLauncher ^^

But i will release some smaller things especially for Modder-Usage :)
