To answer some of the questions about Ogre3D:
Ogre3D is only a graphics engine, where Gamebryo, for example, is a game engine. Ogre3D doesn't include things like physics or AI, that's all things we can or have to implement. But there are great plugins for Ogre3D, e.g. it's possible to use the Bullet physics engine with Ogre.
About the looks: Ogre supports a whole load of nice effects and shaders to make Kontor look very realistic.
