Secret societies

I think the game won't be accomplished if there won't be any secret organizations around. I was thinking about a Thieves Guild and/or some other secret clubs which are dealing with 'serious business' and a player could interact with these :)

Europe 1400 browser game has Shadow Offices which were probably meant to be a secret society. I know a lot of guilds are trying to take over all politic offices in Europe 1400 and if they succeed they get A LOT of power.

Just an idea. What do you guys think?

The idea to implement a underworld organaisation such as the thiefs guild that isn´t working in public is on our ideas list already but its good that you mentioned it.
I for myself been a great fan of the idea to have a shadowy thiefs guild in the game.

Nice :)

Actually they could be working in public to hide their main business. For example, a Bards Guild may play as a cover for underworld organisation.

LOL I love it, I can imagine joining this society and the other members help you to take control of a business whom are in competition with yours.
Hey they might even practice strange initiation rituals and go to a secret location to witness a weird ceremony based on a sacrifice.
Could call it the free masons or the illuminate :p
