I mean cmon. A bishop who hates me (his hatred line was empty) suddenly forgave my sins. I mean what for? There is so little logic when playing with AI.

Hear ye, hear ye!

All the guildies who think the same thou all shall join and organize the Multiplayer Session of the Guild II. That woudl be blast guys!! I got tunngle and gameranger. If there is any info on how to play it without OCC, please share your experience here! I think port forwarding would help, but idk which ports to use for this game.

Out of the German ReadMe:

Wenn >Die Gilde 2 - Die Seeräuber der Hanse< im Netzwerk mit
aktivierter Firewall gespielt wird, müssen folgende Ports
freigegeben werden:
- (TCP/IP, UDP) 2801
- (TCP/IP, UDP) 2816
- (TCP/IP, UDP) 30180

Try it.

OOC Reasons:

*Modified config.ini
*mods
*Any other Change in The Guild 2

Well I isntalled the Guild2: Renaissance (ver. 4.0) then 4.15 patch and then 4.17b..if by that you mean order then everything should be all right.

Hmm I honestly don't have many problems with OoS.  I play lan with just one other player (my wife) and on average after about 20 years we might have an OoS that we fix by reloading our save.  We play with a ton of mods too.  I think the key is to play with people who are willing to copy the host's save and restart the game if you do get an OoS.  Re-post this when the patch comes out and I'll be on board.  I think at least a few of the OoS issues will be addressed (though, as the devs have said, it's impossible to fix ALL of them).

Well never managed to play this game in multiplayer. Tried few times via gameranger and tunngle and never got pass the OOS :( If somebody would like to try it with me again on weekends please let me know. I will try to port forward the ports Las_Vegas provided and hopefully it will help.

Basically everybody needs the equal game version and mods if one has them.
