Only two "classes"?
« on: 03 March 2012, 13:52:25 »
"The player can choose to play as a merchant or craftsman, play fair or use shady measures to achieve his goals."

Awh... was hoping for more professions... more like The Guild 2. Is this set in the stone or might there be more professions available that hasnt been announced yet?

I've read a little about how the gameplay will work. And as I've understood it you basically give out orders and your characters execute them. Imagine playing as a thief, having a few bandits or playing as a guard/merc.

Maybe you're the boss of a bunch of thieves, and give out the orders to sneak into a house and steal stuff. The better your thieves are, the more loot they get and less chance of being caught. Or maybe set them to hide in a dark valley, and if someone unlucky goes by they will rob them. Or maybe pick pocket?

Or if you got some bandits, you can hide in the forest and ambush carts. Maybe beat down traders and lonely travelers and stuff! What if you could get hired to do something specific, like burn down a house, or threaten someone.

As a merc you could be hired as a caravan/house guard, maybe escort someone or patrol the roads

I'm getting all hyped of all the possibilities with different professions!

Maybe some thugs could make a deal with a blacksmith, if the blacksmith give them armor/weapons then they will protect him/share loot with him. Or just dont burn down his blacksmith ;)
